Laundry – A Poem

by V. Buritsch-Tompkins

Not so life-consuming as time-consuming and about to kill my schedule for the day. CURSE THEE, that I may no longer have to deal with such a burden. But alas, let me complete it.

Forsooth, the laundry is a cycle, and I should strive to bathe in its even pace. Oh, laundry, thou art tedious and swift. I would sooner leave thee to another. I should be at peace.
